Skillet Steak Fajitas

INGREDIENTS
1 pound steak top sirloin, flank steak (thinly sliced across the grain)
2 tbsp. olive oil
3 bell peppers colors of choice, cut into thin strips
1 white onion medium, cut into wedges
2 tbsp. fajita seasoning
1 lime, juice of
Fajita Seasoning
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 ½ tbsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. paprika
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
Optional
Tortilla shells
Cheese, shredded
Jalapenos, sliced or diced
Cilantro, chopped
Avocado, sliced
Guacamole
Olives, sliced
Sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
Salsa
Tomatoes, diced
Lettuce, shredded
Lime wedges
These Skillet Steak Fajitas can be on the table in under 30 minutes! With just a few simple ingredients, this recipe is sure to become a weeknight favorite.
DIRECTIONS
Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil. Add sliced beef and 1 tbsp. of fajita seasoning. Cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
In the same skillet heat 1 tbsp. olive oil. Add the sliced onions. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Then add in the sliced peppers and the other 1 tbsp. of fajita seasoning. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the peppers are tender crisp to your liking.
Add the cooked beef back to the pan. Drizzle with the juice of one lime.
Stir until everything is well combined. Serve in tortilla shell with desired toppings.
