One Pan Chicken Sausage Tomato Orzo

INGREDIENTS
4 chicken sausage links, cut into pieces
1 onion, diced
2 medium zucchinis, diced
1 tbsp. olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. pepper
¼ tsp. red pepper flakes
2 cups orzo, dry
15 oz. can diced tomatoes, do not drain
2 cups bone broth
1 cup half & half
1 cup spinach, chopped
¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
This One Pan Chicken Sausage Tomato Orzo is such a cozy meal the entire family will love.
DIRECTIONS
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chicken sausage and cook for about 5 minutes.
Add in onions, zucchini, garlic, Italian seasoning, pepper and red pepper flakes. Sautee veggies for about 3-5 minutes.
Add in dry orzo and stir. Mix in canned tomatoes, bone broth, half & half, and bring to a boil.
Cover with lid, lower heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Remove lid add in chopped spinach and grated parmesan cheese. Give it one good last stir. Serve and enjoy!
