Individual Apple Crisps
Servings: 4 halves | Prep: 10 min | Cook Time: 50 min
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. old fashioned oats
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 large egg, well beaten
2 medium apples
These Individual Apple Crisps not only make your house smell delicious, they taste even better!
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a small bowl, add oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nuts. Stir to combine. Add the beaten egg to the dry ingredients. Stir to combine.
Cut apples in half, cutting through the core. Use a paring knife, spoon, or melon baller to scoop out the core and make a shallow cup in the apple.
Place apples in a baking dish, spoon in oat mixture evenly between the apples. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 25 minutes.
