Ground Turkey Pasta Bake
Servings: 8 | Prep: 15 min | Cook Time: 20 min
INGREDIENTS
1 box of Barilla protein plus pasta, cooked
1 24 oz. Marinara sauce
1 cup low fat cottage cheese
2 medium zucchinis, diced
2 cups broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
2 tbsp. Olive oil
2 oz. Part skim Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Salt & pepper
Garlic powder
Oregano
DIRECTIONS
Cook the pasta, drain and set aside.
Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add ground turkey, break apart and cook until cooked through. Pour cooked meat into a bowl and set aside. In that same pan add the olive oil and heat. Add the zucchini and broccoli. Cook until tender crisp. About 5-7 minutes.
In a blender, blend the sauce, cottage cheese and spices together.
Combine all the ingredients in a large baking dish. Stir to combine. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Feel free to broil at the end for 3 minutes.
