Ground Turkey Pasta Bake

Servings: 8 | Prep: 15 min | Cook Time: 20 min

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 box of Barilla protein plus pasta, cooked

  • 1 24 oz. Marinara sauce

  • 1 cup low fat cottage cheese

  • 2 medium zucchinis, diced

  • 2 cups broccoli, cut into bite size pieces

  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil

  • 2 oz. Part skim Mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • Salt & pepper

  • Garlic powder

  • Oregano

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook the pasta, drain and set aside.

  2. Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add ground turkey, break apart and cook until cooked through. Pour cooked meat into a bowl and set aside. In that same pan add the olive oil and heat. Add the zucchini and broccoli. Cook until tender crisp. About 5-7 minutes.

  3. In a blender, blend the sauce, cottage cheese and spices together.

  4. Combine all the ingredients in a large baking dish. Stir to combine. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Feel free to broil at the end for 3 minutes.
