Baked Pears with Walnuts
Servings: 8 halves | Prep: 10 min | Cook Time: 30 min
INGREDIENTS
4 large, ripe pears
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 cup walnuts or Pecans, roughly chopped
These Baked Pears with Walnuts require only five ingredients and make for the perfect fall dessert!
DIRECTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat.
Cut the pears in half lengthwise and use a small spoon or melon baller to scrape out a hole in the center. Arrange the pears, cut side up on the baking sheet and drizzle the maple over, rubbing it in slightly.
Sprinkle with the cinnamon and ginger and fill the holes with the walnuts or pecans.
Bake until fork tender, about 20-30 minutes.
Let cool for a few mins and enjoy as is or with vanilla ice cream!
