Apple Bacon Turkey Burger

Servings: 4 | Prep: 10 min | Cook Time: 15 min

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 turkey burger patties

  • 4 slices of turkey bacon, cooked

  • 4 sesame brioche buns

  • 4 slices of Gouda cheese

  • Apple of your choice, I just used what I had (gala), sliced

  • Romaine lettuce

  • Onion (optional)

  • Sauce

    • 1/4 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt

    • 1/4 cup no added sugar BBQ sauce

  • Salad kit

 

This Apple Bacon Turkey Burger is the perfect combination of flavors. Paired with a side salad and you have a balanced dinner idea.

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook the turkey patties to 165 degrees. Top with cheese. Toast the bun (optional).

  2. Mix the Greek yogurt and BBQ sauce (2 tbsp. sauce per burger).

  3. Assemble the burger.

  4. Pair with a chopped salad kit.
