Teriyaki Beef Stir Fry
Makes: 4 | Prep: 10 minutes | Marinate time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1-pound top sirloin, cut into thin, bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 tsp pepper
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil, divided
¼ cup teriyaki sauce, store bought
1 bell pepper red, cut into thin slices
1 cup broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
1 cup snap peas
1 cup carrots, sliced
1-2 green onions finely, chopped
1 tbsp. sesame seeds optional

This Teriyaki Beef Stir Fry is incredibly flavorful and easy. Serve with ramen noodles, over rice, or in a lettuce cup for a lower carb version! Chinese takeout right at home!
DIRECTIONS
Place the beef in a bowl and top with 2 tbsp soy sauce and black pepper. Stir to coat then set aside to marinade for 20 minutes.
In a large pan heat 1 tbsp olive oil. Add beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until cooked to your liking. Remove from pan, set aside in a bowl.
In the same pan heat 1 tbsp olive oil, add garlic. Heat for 1-2 minutes. Add in teriyaki sauce. Then add bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas and carrots. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender crisp.
Add beef back into vegetables and heat for an additional 1-3 minutes until everything is well coated with the teriyaki sauce.
Top with sesame seeds and scallions.
Serve with ramen noodles, over rice, or in a lettuce cup for a lower carb version!
