Homemade Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Makes: 20 | Prep: 10 min | Freeze Time: 50 minutes
INGREDIENTS
½ cup peanut butter, creamy
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. almond flour might need more
¾ cup chocolate
1 tsp. coconut oil
This homemade Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups recipe will satisfy your peanut butter cravings in just minutes, and they taste just like the real thing!
DIRECTIONS
In the bowl mix together the nut butter, honey and 2 tbsp. Almond flour until it forms a mass. If the dough doesn’t stick together completely, add a little more almond flour, 1 teaspoon at a time, until it forms a single, soft mass and the oils are mostly absorbed (it will look matte).
Roll into 20 equal size balls, and then flatten and lengthen between your palms into a circle (or whatever shape you prefer). Place on sheet pan lined with wax paper.
Freeze peanut butter eggs in for about 15-20 minutes, or refrigerate for about 45 minutes, until firm.
Melt 3/4 cup of chocolate with coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely smooth and shiny.
Cover each PB circle with chocolate and then freeze or refrigerate until chocolate has hardened. Enjoy!
