Here are three ways to prep the chicken prior to making the recipe. In my home, I use the “quick way” personally but you have choices!
Quick way: Canned Chicken in Water. I prefer to make dips quickly and they taste just as good. Grab 2 cans for this recipe (drain water) and use the chicken. This also keeps the cost down and allows you to make more
Instantpot: Cook your chicken breast and shred. This takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
Slow Cooker – crockpot buffalo chicken dip is convenient but make sure you start your dip way early if it’s uncooked. You can also do a partial slow cooker method by adding your canned chicken in your slow cooker and using the slow cooker to warm up your buffalo dip

You’ll notice most Buffalo Chicken Dip recipes use Ranch flavoring or dressing. I’m from Buffalo so we use Blue Cheese. I did replace the dressing with plain nonfat Greek yogurt to decrease the calories and fat but left the blue cheese crumbles to still have that flavor.
