Apple Pie Bites

Apple pie bites

INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ light brown sugar

  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

  • 2 tbsp. butter

  • ⅓ cup pecans chopped (or walnuts)

  • 1 apple Granny Smith, cored and sliced into 8 slices

  • 1 tube Pillsbury original crescent rolls 8 ounce container

 

Delicious, quick and easy mini apples pies made with Pillsbury crescent rolls in less than 30 minutes!

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375° Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and apple pie spice. Set aside.

  3. Arrange the crescent roll triangles on the baking sheet. Set aside.

  4. Evenly distribute the brown sugar mixture onto each triangle. Sprinkle each triangle evenly with chopped pecans.

  5. Melt the butter and toss apples in the butter.

  6. Place an apple slice on the wide end of the triangle. Roll the large end towards the small end to wrap the dough around the apple. Repeat with remaining apple slices.

  7. Brush each crescent roll with remaining butter. Optional; sprinkle with additional apple pie spice.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  9. Eat as is or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
