Air Fryer Chicken Sausage & Shrimp

Makes: 6 | Prep: 15 min | Cook Time: 12 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound shrimp, tails removed

  • 4 chicken sausage links, sliced,

  • 1 zucchini medium sliced into 1/4-inch-thick half moons

  • 3 bell peppers mix of colors, (or a mix of colors), seeded and cut into thin 1-inch pieces

  • ½ red onion, cut into pieces

  • 2 tsp. paprika

  • 1 tsp. oregano

  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

  • ½ tsp. onion powder

  • ¼ tsp. cayenne powder

  • ¼ tsp. pepper

  • ¼ tsp. salt

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

    Optional

    • cooked rice

 

This quick and easy Air Fryer Chicken Sausage & Shrimp recipe is the perfect lazy weeknight meal you can have on the table in minutes. It is loaded with protein and colorful vegetables and can be made in less than 30 minutes. Enjoy it as healthy dinner or lunch any day of the week!

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400℉ (if it requires preheating).

  2. In a small bowl combine paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne powder, pepper and salt. In a large bowl, combine shrimp, chicken sausage, vegetables and mix of spices. Toss until well combined.

  3. Depending on how big your air fryer basket/s are you may have to cook batches, transfer the mixture to the air fryer basket/s (make sure it’s one layer) cook for 5-6 minutes.

  4. Toss or shake the basket and then cook for an additional 5-6 minutes or until desired liking. Repeat until everything is cooked. Serve as is or over rice. 

  5. Enjoy!
