Ingredients

  • 1 lb. brussels sprouts
  • 1 ½ tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese shredded or grated

Instructions

  • First, wash the brussels sprouts and pat them dry. Trim the ends off the brussels sprouts and cut them in half, lengthwise. Some people prefer to discard the loose leaves, I add them to the bowl. Those are the pieces that get nice and crispy!
  • Place the brussels sprouts in a bowl. Add the olive oil and stir until the brussels sprouts are well coated. Add the garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir until the brussels sprouts are well coated.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the brussels sprouts to an air fryer basket.
  • Cook the brussels sprouts at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 minutes.
  • After 6 minutes, open the air fryer basket and give the brussels sprouts a stir, sprinkle in the parmesan cheese and gently stir the brussels sprouts until they are well coated.
  • Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, or until tender crisp.
