Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak top sirloin, flank steak (thinly sliced across the grain)
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 bell peppers colors of choice, cut into thin strips
  • 1 white onion medium, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp. fajita seasoning
  • 1 lime juice of

Fajita Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper

Optional

  • tortilla shells
  • cheese shredded
  • jalapenos sliced or diced
  • cilantro chopped
  • avocado sliced
  • guacamole
  • olives sliced
  • sour cream of plain Greek yogurt
  • salsa
  • tomatoes diced
  • lettuce shredded
  • lime wedges

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil. Add sliced beef and 1 tbsp. of fajita seasoning. Cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same skillet heat 1 tbsp. olive oil. Add the sliced onions. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Then add in the sliced peppers and the other 1 tbsp. of fajita seasoning. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the peppers are tender crisp to your liking.
  • Add the cooked beef back to the pan. Drizzle with the juice of one lime.
  • Stir until everything is well combined. Serve in tortilla shell with desired toppings.
