These Skillet Steak Fajitas can be on the table in under 30 minutes! With just a few simple ingredients, this recipe is sure to become a weeknight favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 pound steak top sirloin, flank steak (thinly sliced across the grain)
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 3 bell peppers colors of choice, cut into thin strips
- 1 white onion medium, cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp. fajita seasoning
- 1 lime juice of
Fajita Seasoning
- 1 tbsp. chili powder
- 1 ½ tbsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
Optional
- tortilla shells
- cheese shredded
- jalapenos sliced or diced
- cilantro chopped
- avocado sliced
- guacamole
- olives sliced
- sour cream of plain Greek yogurt
- salsa
- tomatoes diced
- lettuce shredded
- lime wedges
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil. Add sliced beef and 1 tbsp. of fajita seasoning. Cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet heat 1 tbsp. olive oil. Add the sliced onions. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Then add in the sliced peppers and the other 1 tbsp. of fajita seasoning. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the peppers are tender crisp to your liking.
- Add the cooked beef back to the pan. Drizzle with the juice of one lime.
- Stir until everything is well combined. Serve in tortilla shell with desired toppings.
