These Homemade Chicken Nuggets are a healthier option for a kid-friendly dinner even the adults will love them!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 egg large
- ½ cup breadcrumbs divided into 2, ¼ portions
- ¼ cup part skim mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 2 tbsp. parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine the ground chicken, egg, ¼ cup breadcrumbs, ¼ cup mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper together.
- Form into 20 equal size oval shaped nuggets. In a small bowl add ¼ cup breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Coat each nugget with the breadcrumb and Parmesan cheese mixture.
- Add them to an air fryer basket (make sure they are not touching or stacked) and spray them lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook at 400℉ for 6-8 minutes. Flip, lightly spray again with cooking spray and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce!
