This Crock Pot Baked Ziti is an easy crock pot recipe that packs all the flavor! With tender noodles coated in a ground turkey, marinara and mixed with a melty cheese goodness, it’s the ideal family dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey 93/7
- ½ onion diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 pound ziti pasta dry
- 48 oz. marinara sauce
- 15 oz. part skim ricotta cheese
- 2 cups part skim mozzarella cheese shredded
- 4 cups spinach
- 2 tbsp. parsley for garnish, optional
- 1 tsp. pepper
Instructions
- Heat a medium pan over medium heat, spray with cooking spray. Add ground turkey. Break apart with a utensil and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add onion, garlic and pepper towards the end of cooking.
- Coat a 6-quart or larger slow cooker with cooking spray. Add the cooked ground turkey, dry ziti, marinara sauce, ¾ container of ricotta cheese, 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and the spinach. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- Spoon the remaining ricotta on the top of the pasta and then sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
- Cover and cook until the pasta is cooked to your liking and cheese is melted, on the low setting for 3-4 hours or on high setting for 1-2 hours. Top with parsley. Serve with a side veggie or salad of choice.
