These easy chicken wraps are made with a simple ingredient, a chopped salad kit. Such a simple and healthy lunch or dinner recipe. Soft flour tortillas are filled with chicken, crunchy coleslaw and peanuts with a delicious Asian sesame dressing.

I don’t know about you, but I love when a recipe requires minimal ingredients that need to be cooked or prepped. This meal could literally take you five minutes to make if the chicken is prepped ahead of time. When I put this meal on the weekly menu I will either purchase a rotisserie chicken or cook the chicken during my weekly Sunday meal prep.
Ingredients
Asian Chopped Salad Kit – The main ingredient! In my opinion salad kits are underrated. What is a salad kit? A salad kit is a bag full of lettuce, cabbage, toppings (cheese, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, wonton noodles, croutons, bacon bits etc.) and dressing. It’s simple, open the bag and open the contents, mix everything together and you have a yummy salad. The Asian chopped salad kit is made of green cabbage, romaine lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, and green onions. The toppings include wonton strips, sliced almonds and orange sesame dressing.
Shredded Chicken – If you’ve followed me for a while now you know I use a lot of rotisserie chicken and instant pot shredded chicken in my recipes. Why? because it’s an easy protein source and you can do a lot with. However you choose to cook your chicken make sure to have it cooked prior to making this recipe to ensure it only takes five minutes to make.
Dry Roasted Peanuts – Because crunchy Asian chicken wraps are the best Asian chicken wraps. Seriously, the more crunch, the better!
Chedder Cheese – Cheese makes everything taste better, right? Well, that’s what my husband says
Cilantro – Provides a finishing touch of herby freshness to the wraps.
Tortilla Shells – In our house we like to use the low carb 8″ mission wraps. But any tortilla shells will work. Note: we do not follow a low carb diet but do prefer low carb wraps. Eat what you like!
Asian Sesame Dressing – The chopped salad kit comes with an orange sesame dressing which is just enough dressing for the chopped salad kit. But since the recipe calls for additional ingredients, the mix can get a little dry. Aldi has an Asian sesame dressing that has a very similar taste to the orange sesame dressing so just a few tablespoons will do the job. Feel free to add more to your wrap once it’s assembled.

How to make Asian Chicken Wraps
Mix the salad kit – The chopped salad kit will come with smaller food and dressing filled bags inside of the large bag. Cut each of those bags open and place them all in a large bowl. Mix everything together until well combined.
Mix in the other ingredients – Add in the shredded cooked chicken, roasted peanuts, shredded cheddar, cilantro and Asian sesame dressing. Mix until everything is well combined.
Assemble your wraps – Fill each tortilla with about 1/2 cup of the mixture. Fold in sides and roll to create a wrap and cut in half before serving. If you need to, secure the wraps with toothpicks to keep them together. Enjoy!

Perfect for:
Cold Lunch – No microwave at work. No problem. This is the perfect cold lunch idea. If you want to prepare this Asian chicken wrap recipe ahead of time, hold off on assembling until ready to serve to keep the tortillas from getting soggy.
Quick Dinner – Life can get hectic and sometimes we need a quick dinner but still like to try and keep it healthy. If you know a certain night of the week is going to be more hectic than another plan to make these Asian chicken wraps that night and cook the chicken a night when you have more time so it’s ready to go when you need it.
Left Over Chicken – Do you ever have left over chicken that you don’t know what to do with? This is the perfect recipe! In my opinion a wrap is always the go to meal you make with left over chicken so why not jazz it up with a chopped Asian salad kit?!
